MISSION
Catching Mangoes Dance creates space for immigrant and hyphenated-American experiences to be explored, celebrated, and shared through dance. We engage audiences in meaningful dialogue by facilitating performance, cultural education, and community programming
VISION
Catching Mangoes Dance seeks to build a world in which diverse stories are honored and our shared humanity is strengthened. Through dance, we expand perspectives, nurture empathy, and cultivate connections across cultures and experiences.
Recently
February 2026 | Catching Mangoes presented a Lunar New Year workshop at RSM US LLP. The workshop included a live dance performance by Hiroko Kelly with musical accompaniment from Lisa Pham. Participants created new year fortunes and engaged in a movement exercise after the presentation.
Anticipation: 8 things we’re excited about in dance in 2025
“We love it when new dance companies flower in Atlanta. One promising newcomer is Jacque Pritz’s Catching Mangoes Dance, which will be part of Constructing Dance at Actor’s Express this month. Pritz is Filipino American, and her mission with this contemporary ensemble is to uplift “hyphenated American, immigrant and multicultural experiences through movement, storytelling and cultural exchange.” Given the state of American politics right now, she couldn’t have chosen a more appropriate time.”
